2023 Down Syndrome Association of the Heartland Buddy Walk

Introduction: Elizabethtown is coming together at Elizabethtown High School on Saturday, September 30, 2023, to participate in the 2023 Down Syndrome Association of the Heartland Buddy Walk. This heartwarming event is more than just a walk—it’s a unified effort to raise funds and celebrate the individuals in our community with Down syndrome. Whether you have a personal connection to Down syndrome or simply wish to show your support, this event welcomes everyone to join in the day of celebration and inclusivity.

Uniting for a Cause: Elizabethtown High School will play host to this meaningful event that aims to unite the community and raise awareness about Down syndrome. Attendees will have the opportunity to register as individuals, form new teams, or join existing ones. Additionally, participants can embark on a fundraising journey to contribute to the cause and support vital programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome.

Register and Make an Impact: Registration fees for the event are as follows:

  • Ages 13 & up (includes t-shirt): $21
  • Ages 12 & under (includes t-shirt): $10
  • Individuals with Down syndrome (includes t-shirt): Free

It’s important to note that registrations made before September 18, 2023, will be guaranteed a t-shirt. If you cannot participate in the event but would like to support the Down Syndrome Association of the Heartland, you can also choose to make a direct donation.
