I had a great visit at beautiful Buffalo Lake with local volunteer trail builder David Haines. David talked with me about all the work a group of local volunteers has been doing for a couple of years to improve the trails. This is a true hidden treasure in Hardin County. The trail was specifically designed to give mountain bikers a place to test and hone their skill, but the trails are also open to hikers and runners as well.
