Abraham Lincoln’s 210th Birthday

February 12, 2019

Activities begin with a wreath-laying ceremony in downtown Hodgenville at 8:00 am followed by a reception at the Hodgenville Christian Church Fellowship Hall.

A wreath-laying ceremony at the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park will begin at 10:00 am.

The annual Lincoln Luncheon will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the LaRue County Extension Building from 12:00-1:00 pm.

Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the Lincoln Museum or from Lincoln Days board members.

Mrs. Heather French Henry will be the guest speaker. She is a former Miss America, fashion designer, veterans advocate, and currently a candidate for Kentucky Secretary of State.

The program will include music performed by Mrs. Camille Turner, the presentation of the Richard Burks Award, a delicious meal, and a great opportunity to gather and commemorate the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.

The public is invited to attend these ceremonies to honor President Lincoln’s birthday.

The luncheon features installation of new board members and presentation of the Richard Burks Lincoln Heritage Award.
