The MWR Fort Knox Race Series is set to host its first race of the year as the Shamrock Shuffle 5K kicks off at the Samuel Adams Brewhouse. In addition to the race, a Saint Patrick’s Day-themed costume contest also will take place and prizes for best costume will be given out before the race. The costume contest is set for 5:20 p.m., a safety brief will take place at 5:25 and the race will begin at 5:30. The event is $20 for those 13 and up, $15 for those ages five to 12 and free to those five and under.
