R&B group The Platters are set to perform at the State Theater in Elizabethtown. Originally founded in 1953, founding member Herb Reed remained the only consistent member of the group until his death in 2012. The group is now made up of senior member Lance Bernard Bryant, along with Omar Ross, Jovian K. Ford, and Brittany Michelle Wallace. The original group was known for hits such as “My Prayer,” “Twilight Time,” and “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.” Balcony seats are $43, reserved seats are $49, preferred seats are $63 and VIP tickets are $79.
