Tails & TaTas 5k Run/Walk: Running Towards a Cure

October 13, 2023 By Greg Milby

Elizabethtown gears up for the Tails & TaTas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk event, this Saturday, October 14, 2023, beginning at 8:00 AM. Hosted at Swope Toyota Dealership and Freeman Lake Park, this event is set to unite runners, walkers, and canine companions for a noble cause.

The Tails & TaTas 5k Run/Walk has established itself as a beacon of hope and support for breast cancer awareness, embracing all fitness levels and ages.

Participants can showcase their furry friends in the “Cutest Dog” and “Dog/Owner Look-Alike” categories or unleash their imaginative costumes for a chance to win the “Best Costume.”

What sets this event apart is its purpose. All proceeds generated through registrations and contributions will be directed towards the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin, furthering breast cancer awareness and supporting critical research efforts.

The day’s schedule starts with the Costume Contests at 7:30 AM. The 5k Run/Walk takes off at 8:00 AM, followed by the enthusiastic start of the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:05 AM.

The Tails & TaTas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk is more than just a race; it’s a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and hope. Let’s lace up our shoes, embrace the journey, and race towards a brighter, cancer-free future.
