Telling The Stories of Our Region
Kids will participate in a Scavenger Hunt where they have to find all of the hiding “monsters” on a list. Once they have found all the monsters, they will receive a free book and a small bag of candy.
The Heartland Dulcimer Club will give free one-on-one dulcimer lessons during an event at the Hardin County Public Library. The event will conclude with a short concert by the Dulcimer Club. To register, click here.
Author Stephen Brown will visit the Hardin County Public Library in Elizabethtown to chat and discuss his books. Brown is the author of books such as “Stealing Renoir,” “Let the Earth Breathe,” and “Shadows of Chaco Canyon.” He will be set up in the library's lobby and will have books available for sale.

Future Healthcare Professionals, a program hosted by South Central Kentucky AHEC, will be held on Thursday evenings in February at the Hardin County Public Library. Designed for high school students, the three-session program will explore health professions and will include lessons on taking vitals, suturing and other medical skills.
