Flywheel Brewing in Elizabethtown and local nonprofit Friends of the Hardin County Animal Shelter will host an event at the brewery in which attendees can meet and potentially adopt some furry friends. A portion of beer sales during the event will be donated directly to the nonprofit.

The Kiwanis Club of Hardin County will host their annual gala at American Legion Hardin Post 113 in Elizabethtown. The event will include a dinner, live and silent auctions and a DJ. A portion of proceeds will benefit Sunrise Children's Services.

The Hardin County branch of the NAACP will be hosting its annual black tie and gown fundraiser at the Pritchard Community Center. The event will include a keynote speech from Christopher King, grandson of legendary blues musician B.B. King, as well as live entertainment and a meal.
