Community Storyteller Greg Milby talks with Katie Kurtz of the United Way of Central Kentucky about “Power of The Purse” – a lady’s event to be held the evening of Saturday, August 17th.
Guests will join United Way at The Garage in Downtown Elizabethtown (100 Haycraft Street) to enjoy dinner, tastings, music, and a live auction. During the auction, gentlemen will take the stage for a fashion showcase of designer handbags (i.e. Kate Spade, Coach, Michael Kors, etc.) – all containing items donated by generous business partners. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit education initiatives – including Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
