Kentucky’s Heartland is a community blog sharing the stories of the people and things powering this region.
While we could list the facts and figures that make this region great – from quality schools to generous community organizations to a vibrant economy – that wouldn’t give you the whole picture. To know our communities, you must hear the stories of the remarkable people and organizations making a difference here.
We want to encourage and inspire others to be a part of what makes this community great. So here, we will share stories in an in-depth and interactive way through blogs, videos, live streams, podcasts and more.
Community Storyteller Greg Milby is the host of this blog. He comes to Kentucky’s Heartland following a 20 year long morning radio career. Greg is a community focused family man and a fixture in our region. He shares his talents as a member of many local boards and committees, including The Elizabethtown Police Foundation, The Lincoln Trail Emergency Planning Council, The American Red Cross Advisory Board, Hooray For Heroes Festival Board, United Way Executive Board, United Way Marketing Committee, Hardin County Fair Board and many more.
Greg was honored in 2013 as a Fort Knox Golden Neighbor Award Winner and continues to advocate for our military.
This platform has been a dream of Greg’s, he looks forward to sharing the stories of the people and organizations that power the Heartland.
